For The Love of Driving

We all have a list of cars we would love to own, but it’s the cars we want to drive that really make us who we are.

Most of us do not have the unlimited wealth it would require to buy every car on our dream list – nor would it be practical. That is why we started The Drive Lists. The concept started with a simple question: what are the top 10 cars you’ve always dreamed of driving? This is not a list of cars you’ve always wanted to own – but rather the cars you have always dreamed of driving at least once in your lifetime.

For some, they may have a list of exotic and unattainable rides on their lists, while others might contain more practical and subdued choices. Some might have oddball one-of-a-kind cars and others might have a theme, such as movie cars, military vehicles, or cars owned by infamous people. Whatever your methodology might be for making your list – it should be yours and yours alone: the ultimate driving bucket list.

The Top Ten List

The Drive Lists Project encourages everyone to make a list of the top 10 cars they have always dreamed of driving. This is not a list of vehicles you would love to buy – simply the ones you want to drive at least once.

Making Your List

Your list should consist of 10 cars or motor vehicles you have always wanted to see in person and ultimately slide behind the steering wheel. They don’t need to be exotics, or cars you think you could afford to buy – simply ones you’ve dreamed of operating yourself.

The Evolving List

Your list can evolve and change over time. As you drive different vehicles and experience different drives, you may start to think about new cars, new routes, and new experiences behind the wheel.

Sharing Your Ride

By participating in the Drive Lists Project, you’re not only setting out on a person quest to check off all of your dream rides, but you’re joining a community designed to make it all possible. If you have a vehicle that is on someone else’s list, you should be eager to help them check that drive off their list.

The Diving Drives

While the primary purpose of the project is to help make the top 10 list of cars people have dreamed of driving, it’s also about the destinations of these experiences. Keep a top 10 list of places you would love to drive.

The Unicorn Rule

While most lists should be vehicles you could theoretically have access to drive someday, the list should also feature at least one Unicorn. They are the rarest of the rare and hard to come by … but not impossible.
